Hello Giraffe Postcard — Download for FREE!

So I’m learning Adobe Illustrator by drawing very round looking animals, I’m slowly getting better at it, but it also means I have lots of round animal drawings on my computer, so I decided to make a postcard to send to some friends and family (some expecting little ones) as a way of saying HI and I’ve made them available to download in PDF format for FREE! See below for two versions (download the crop mark version if you have cutters, or the non crop mark version if you don’t).

My works in Vibewire!

Recently, the good people of Vibewire (a non for profit media/arts organization based here in Sydney) told me that two of my photographs will feature in their 2/4 2010 Anthology. So when the little pocket-sized book of joy came through my mailbox, I was pretty excited.

Alla Untitled, apart of the Alla & Raje shoot are now in print and it looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Check out my part of the anthology below.

The book also features works from a dozen poets, journos, photographers and illustrator’s works, so it’s a pretty good read – I’m not sure if the general public can get their paws on it just yet, but will keep you posted!

Corbis Readymech Cameras

Found this on the tumblr, and LOVE this idea of printing your own camera! This is so awesome… it kinda reminds me that I haven’t yet made a calendar cube for these last few months of 2009. (For those of you who were following the calendar cubes, many apologies, life sort of got in the way…) But am working on bringing out something in 2010, so please stay tuned. For now enjoy a download-able pin hole camera from Corbis Readymech :D!

Image of paintbrushes taken from Sydney Artist/Printer Brenda Tye’s Studio. The real collection is coming soon! Promise πŸ™‚

download free love – cubic calendar may-aug

Free is hard to come by in our current economic state. Download yourself a free print-it-yourself cubic calendar and share the free love. Print on scrunch-able standard A4 and it acts as a stress cube – scrunch your stress away. And if you accidentally kill your cube – print another. For those who are mellower, cube is designed with pre-scrunched markings – so you can just imagine the stress away.

Download and make this cubic calendar for 2009. Follow link to download pdf (updated link) file. Printing on white paper with achromatic settings recommended.
