So my friend proposed we should go into setting up a market stall some time in the near future. So now I’m much too excited to sleep. So I made these Limited Edition Transparent Business Cards. Just in case opportunities of quick introductions and self promotions come up (it could happen ), Though these still need lots of tweaking, but I do like how they look so far…

Sorry I haven’t been around. Been taking some time off to prep for going back to uni. So maybe some graded creative works coming out of that soon that we can showcase here. (fingers crossed they’re good enough to show). Since I haven’t gotten off my lazy bum to take any photos or made anything, I thought I’d raid my scanner and see what’s stored in that plastic box… these are some of the things I have to show…

As promised, here are some of the drawings from my short 2 week gen-ed drawing course at COFA (college of fine arts, unsw). Had loads of fun, and learnt much about tonal studies and how to draw accurately etc. I shall fully embrace ink and charcoal now . Oh happy days.

Christmas is upon us once again. This year instead of ignoring it, I have chosen to accept that Christmas is a Holiday created by shopping centres and other retail outlets and just embrace it with arms and wallets wide open. It also has something to do with spending 90% of my life in a shopping centre, (the other 10% with my eyes closed in a nice warm bed). This is a preview for the presents of Christmas 2008.

Yes, as the digital bludging continues and in my frustration of not being able to figure out [STUPID] flash CS3 to do my online portfolio website, I decided to turn to the only skill I am best at… procrastination =)

 These are A6 blank paged notebooks, with recycled covers (they were once a shop’s catalogue [my work place’s catalogue to be precise]) with blank pages to drawn and write on. I tried three types of binding… thread, wire and paper yarn. As I got lazy at the end, and paper yarn was the easiest to bind and would allow for most pages, it sort of won over the other methods…

I actually find these notebooks quite useful to scribble notes in because I don’t have to worry about being messy. Have started using to scribble random thoughts and drawings on extremely slow Sydney train rides… is it still procrastination if my procrastinating is actually more productive than my working??

Must be a digital hang over, recently got a sudden urge to draw on paper. Yes, I believe 14 weeks of being stuck designing on Macs in a lab really does make you a little crazy… here’s the labour of love. Drawn with hand with Ink on paper.
