Leap Year Instagram So Far

Lots have happened already in 2012 – and it’s looking like it’s going to get even crazier. I’ve recently gotten quite addicted to Pinterest like half the world’s population, so been spending lots of time on there, but my excuse is that I am planning some projects and it’s proving a great tool, head here if you’re a fellow pinner.So just wanted to do a quick Instagram update for the month of January and February 2012.

Summer on Instagram

A belated Happy 2012 to you all. Sorry for the late post, been enjoying a short summer break for Christmas and New Year here in Sydney, just having a quiet break, a good rest before I headed back to work. Here is some of my summer captured on Instagram (I know, I really should take the other camera out some time, but I just get so lazy! So much easier just to carry the iPhone around and snap away). Images taken in and around Sydney, on iPhone with the Instagram app. Hope your 2012 is off to a great start!

Merry Christmas 2011

The year is nearly over and the holidays are drawing close! Can’t wait for a break! To celebrate Christmas this year, I took the crafty DIY route with some hand drawn chalk window drawings and some handmade cards and lollie bags as presents. Here are some photos.

Hope you guys will have a brilliant Christmas this year, enjoy the festivities – it’s been a tough year, so this is a well-deserved break. Have a fantastic new 2012 as well.

The making-of: The windows took 2 days to paint (over two weekends, my arms had to recover), painted with chalk pens for glass and blackboards.

Outpost & Sydney through Instagram

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, haven’t really been taking the camera out for snaps recently, but have been extremely addicted to Instagram on the iphone, so mostly I’ve been taking snaps on there. I also recently visited the Outpost street art festival here in Sydney held on Cockatoo Island featuring some excellent local and international street artist, had a blast despite the rain. So I’m learning Adobe Illustrator by drawing very round looking animals, I’m slowly getting better at it, but it also means I have lots of round animal drawings on my computer, so I decided to make a postcard to send to some friends and family (some expecting little ones) as a way of saying HI and I’ve made them available to download in PDF format for FREE! See below for two versions (download the crop mark version if you have cutters, or the non crop mark version if you don’t).
